Who may be able to join
- People who have been diagnosed with Crohn's Disease within the last 12 months, confirmed through clinical, endoscopy, tissue, and/or imaging results, and whose disease is currently not active (based on a standard Crohn's disease activity score of 200 or below).
- People of any gender who are over 18 years of age.
- Women who have a negative pregnancy test result.
- People who are willing to sign an informed consent form before any study procedures begin.
- People who, in the opinion of the investigating doctor, are willing and able to follow the study requirements.
Who may not be able to join
Each point below is a reason the trial team may not be able to accept someone. It is not a list of requirements to meet.
- People who have received infliximab or any other anti-TNF medication within 8 weeks before the cell treatment is given.
- People who have received tacrolimus or cyclosporine within 4 weeks before the cell treatment is given.
- People who have had a problem with alcohol or other addictive substances in the 6 months before joining the study.
- People with severe uncontrolled conditions such as serious kidney, heart, or lung disease.
- People with any medical or psychiatric condition that the investigating doctor considers a reason to exclude them from the trial.
- People who have been diagnosed with cancer, except certain types of skin cancer, or who have a history of cancer that has shown signs of returning within the last 5 years.
- People who have an immune system that does not work properly, whether this is something they were born with or developed over time.
- People who have tested positive for HIV 1/2, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HTLV I/II, West Nile Virus, or syphilis.
- People who are currently experiencing flu-like symptoms.
- People who have had major surgery or a serious physical injury within 6 weeks before joining the study.
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- People who are physically or psychologically unable to follow the study requirements.
- People who are currently taking, or have taken, another experimental drug or treatment within 30 days before their first study visit.
