Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with multiple myeloma that has come back or stopped responding to treatment, and you have already tried at least 3 different types of treatment, including one from each of these groups: a proteasome inhibitor, an anti-CD38 antibody, and an immunomodulatory drug — and your disease got worse on your most recent treatment.
- There is clear evidence, based on standard criteria, that your multiple myeloma has continued to grow or spread during your last treatment.
- You are well enough to carry out basic daily activities, ranging from fully active to capable of self-care but unable to do heavy physical work (this is measured on a standard scale scored 0 to 2).
- If you are a woman who could become pregnant, you must agree to use a highly effective form of contraception during the study and for 6 months after your last dose, agree not to donate eggs during the study, and must not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
- If you are a woman who could become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy blood test within 24 hours before receiving your first dose of the study treatment.
Who may not be able to join:
- You are not eligible to receive the study drug teclistamab based on the approved guidelines in your country.
- You have previously received any treatment that targets a protein called BCMA (B cell maturation antigen).
- Multiple myeloma has spread to your brain or spinal fluid, or there are signs suggesting it might have (confirm with trial site if you are unsure).
- You have had a stroke, mini-stroke (TIA), or seizure within the last 6 months before screening.
- You have had major surgery or a serious injury within the past 2 weeks, have not fully recovered from a recent surgery, or have major surgery planned during the time you would be taking part in the study.
