- People whose Parkinson's-like symptoms are caused by another condition rather than Parkinson's disease itself
- People with significant memory or thinking difficulties, or a diagnosis of Parkinson's disease dementia
- People with serious other health conditions that, in the lead researcher's opinion, would make participation unsafe or difficult (confirm with trial site)
- People with a life expectancy of less than 6 months
- People currently living in a residential care facility
