Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 18 and 80 years old
- People who have been found to have a growth or mass in the pancreas through imaging scans, where a malignant (cancerous) tumour is strongly suspected, and who are planned to have surgery or a tissue sample (biopsy) taken for further testing
- People who have at least one tumour that can be measured on a CT scan, where the largest tumour is at least 10mm across
- People who are able to provide tumour tissue and blood samples for the study
- People who are generally well and able to carry out normal daily activities with little or no limitation (confirm with trial site for exact fitness assessment)
- People whose liver function, kidney function, and blood counts fall within acceptable ranges as assessed by the trial site (confirm with trial site for specific values)
- People of childbearing age who are willing to use contraception during the trial; women of childbearing age must have a negative pregnancy test within 7 days before joining
- People who are willing to participate and able to follow the study requirements; if someone cannot sign the consent form themselves, a legal representative may do so on their behalf with the person's knowledge
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are unable to provide tumour tissue or blood samples
- People who have previously received targeted therapy, immunotherapy, or anti-cancer chemotherapy or radiotherapy before this study
- People who have a history of any other cancer besides pancreatic cancer
- People who have serious heart conditions, such as severe heart failure, unstable chest pain, poorly controlled irregular heartbeat, or high blood pressure that is not well controlled
- People with diabetes that is not well controlled
- People who currently have an active infection
- People with active autoimmune diseases (where the immune system attacks the body) that require long-term use of steroid medications
- People who have previously had an organ or tissue transplant from another person
- People with active mental health conditions that may affect their ability to give informed consent or follow the study plan
- People who have other serious illnesses that the study doctors consider unsuitable for participation
