Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who are aged 40 or older at the time of signing the consent form
• People who are already planning to have a routine colonoscopy as part of their normal medical care
• People who are able to have blood drawn through a needle in a vein
• People who are able to provide blood samples within the 120 days before their bowel preparation and colonoscopy procedures
• People who are willing and able to follow the study visit schedule and meet the study requirements
• People who have signed the informed consent form for the study

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have had any type of cancer in the past (except those who had squamous cell or basal cell skin cancers surgically removed at least 12 months before signing consent)
• People who have had a full colonoscopy with adequate bowel preparation within the last 9 years
• People who are having a colonoscopy to investigate specific symptoms they are experiencing
• People who are already up to date with bowel cancer screening through a non-invasive test
• People whose most recent colonoscopy found precancerous growths or changes
• People who have previously had part of their bowel/colon removed for any reason other than a condition called sigmoid diverticular disease
• People with a known personal history of inflammatory bowel disease (such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis)
• People with a known hereditary condition that increases the risk of bowel cancer, such as Lynch Syndrome
