Who might be able to join this trial:
- People between 18 and 65 years of age
- Both men and women are eligible
- People who have been diagnosed with lumbar radiculopathy (nerve pain radiating from the lower back) lasting 3 months or longer, referred from Fauji Foundation Hospital in Rawalpindi
- People whose pain score is greater than 5 and less than 8 on a standard 0–10 pain rating scale
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have been diagnosed with certain other back or spine conditions, such as failed back surgery syndrome, spondylosis, spondylolisthesis, spinal stenosis, non-specific low back pain, or a spinal fracture
- People who are unable to walk or are wheelchair-bound, or who have a condition called cauda equina syndrome (a serious nerve compression condition affecting the lower spine)
- People who are currently taking blood-thinning medications (anticoagulants)
- Women who are pregnant
