Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 years or older
- People who are currently pregnant or are in the postpartum period (up to 6 months after birth) and living with their infant — this includes women, as well as people of female sex who do not identify as women (such as non-binary or trans individuals) who are the primary parent; this includes parenting through natural birth, adoption, or surrogacy
- People who score above 10 on a standard depression screening tool (the EPDS) at the time of eligibility screening
Who may not be able to join:
- People who currently have an active alcohol or substance use disorder, mania, or a psychotic disorder
- People who currently have an active plan or intent to end their life
- People who plan to move out of Ontario during the study period
- People who are unable to complete study activities online (note: the trial has budgeted for tablets and data plans for a small number of participants who do not have access to devices or home internet — confirm with trial site)
- People who are unable to complete study materials in English, as not all questionnaires and assessments can be provided in other languages during the study
- People who do not have a primary care clinician (such as a family doctor or GP), as the trial requires one for its care delivery model
- People who are already enrolled in a collaborative mental health care program
