- You are currently enrolled in another clinical research treatment study.
- You are currently pregnant.
- You are currently receiving treatment for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, or HIV.
- In the opinion of the study doctor, there are concerns about your ability to safely complete the study or there are other medical reasons you should not participate.
- You drink heavily, defined as more than 2 alcoholic drinks per day or more than 14 per week.
- You currently use illicit drugs such as heroin or cocaine (marijuana does not automatically exclude you).
- You are not willing to sign the consent form.
- You have used antibiotics in the past three months, are currently on antibiotics, or take antibiotics as a preventative measure, as these can significantly affect gut bacteria.
