Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People who are willing and able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part
- People who have a long-term (chronic) blockage in the main abdominal artery (below the kidneys) and/or one or both of the large arteries leading into the legs
- People whose blocked section of artery is at least 30mm (about 3cm) in length
- People who have a clinical need for treatment, either because of severe reduced blood flow to the limbs that threatens the limb, or because of significant leg pain when walking that has not improved with a supervised exercise programme
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are unable to understand what the study involves, or who are not willing to attend the required follow-up appointments
- People whose blockage is located very close to the arteries that supply the kidneys (less than 2cm below the lowest kidney artery)
- People whose artery blockage happened suddenly and recently (rather than being a long-term condition)
- People whose condition is caused by small clots or debris travelling through the bloodstream (embolic disease)

Primary endpoints
The primary objective is to describe the changes in arterial blood pressures between baseline and 12 months follow-up after endovascular treatment of an occlusion of the infrarenal aorta and/or common iliac arteries.
