Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • You have recently been diagnosed with open-angle glaucoma and have not yet received any treatment for it (no eye drops, medications, or surgery)
  • You have been diagnosed with a related eye condition such as high eye pressure (ocular hypertension), pigment dispersion syndrome, or pseudoexfoliation, where lowering eye pressure is recommended, and you have not yet been treated for it

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have previously had any surgery or procedure on your eye related to glaucoma, such as trabeculectomy, laser treatment, or a drainage shunt, or you have used long-term glaucoma medications
  • You have a different type of glaucoma caused by another condition, such as angle-closure glaucoma, glaucoma from an injury, or glaucoma linked to another disease elsewhere in the body
  • You have other significant eye conditions, such as advanced cataracts, age-related macular degeneration, or other problems that could affect how your eye pressure or vision is measured
  • You are unable to keep your head and eyes still during a procedure — for example, due to uncontrolled eye movements (nystagmus) or tremors
  • Your pupil is unable to shrink to a small enough size (4 mm or less) when needed (confirm with trial site)
