Who might be able to join this trial:

- People whose walking or balance problems are caused by another neurological or medical condition, not Parkinson's disease
- People with a history of a physical or neurological condition that would interfere with the study procedures
- People whose personal or social circumstances would make it difficult for them to return for follow-up assessments
- People taking certain sleep-affecting medications called benzodiazepines or Z-drugs, which can significantly affect sleep brain activity recordings
- People who have had a deep brain stimulation (DBS) device implanted within the last 6 months
- People who are unable to complete the required movement assessments without the use of a walking aid
- People with skin conditions, sensitivities, or allergies in the face or ear area (such as a nickel allergy) that could be made worse by applying electrodes to those areas
