Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are professional athletes between 18 and 35 years old
- People who have ongoing pain in the buttock and hip area
- People who have difficulty sitting for long periods of time
- People whose examination shows a positive Faber test (a physical movement test used to check for hip and lower back problems)
- Both male and female athletes are eligible
- People who have been actively practicing their sport for at least the past 2 years
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have had a physical injury or trauma within the last 6 months
- People who have injuries in areas other than the hip
- People who have a condition that affects the whole body (such as a widespread disease or illness)
- People who have an existing condition affecting the nerves or movement in their legs
- People who have had surgery on their lower back at any point
