Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been diagnosed with CIDP (a condition affecting the nerves) according to specific internationally recognised medical guidelines from 2021
• People who have the typical form of CIDP, or one of these specific types: a form mainly affecting movement (motor CIDP), a form affecting multiple separate areas (multifocal CIDP, also called Lewis-Sumner syndrome), a form affecting one specific area (focal CIDP), or a form mainly affecting the hands and feet (distal CIDP)
• People who still have some level of disability and whose condition is currently active
• People who have never been treated for CIDP, have stopped CIDP treatment, or are currently receiving certain CIDP treatments (such as steroids, immunoglobulins, plasma exchange, or a type of medication called FcRn inhibitors)
• People currently on CIDP treatment must be willing to stop their current treatment before starting the trial medication

Who may not be able to join:

• People whose CIDP diagnosis is considered only "possible" rather than confirmed, according to the 2021 medical guidelines
• People who have the sensory form of CIDP (a type mainly affecting feeling/sensation rather than movement)
• People whose nerve condition is caused by something other than CIDP
• People who have been diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), an autoimmune disease affecting multiple parts of the body
• People who are using certain other long-term immune-modifying treatments, or who have ever received total lymphoid irradiation (a type of radiation treatment) or a bone marrow transplant
