Who might be able to join this trial:

• People aged between 18 and 75 years
• People who have recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure (hypertension) for the first time
• People who have not previously taken any medication to lower blood pressure
• People with no history of neurological, inner ear, bone/joint, or mental health conditions that affect balance
• People who are able to walk on their own without the use of a walking aid or similar device
• People who have agreed to take part in the study and signed a consent form

Who may not be able to join:

• People whose high blood pressure is caused by another underlying medical condition (known as secondary hypertension)
• People who have been diagnosed with an inner ear disorder, such as BPPV or Ménière's disease
• People who are currently taking medications that may affect balance, such as sedatives or certain mental health medications
• People who have had a fall caused by an injury or accident that was not related to a balance problem
• People who have cognitive difficulties (such as memory or thinking problems) that would prevent them from completing the trial's tests
• People who would not be able to attend or complete the required check-ups at the two-week and four-week follow-up points
