Who may not be able to join

- People who are medically unstable, such as those with serious heart or circulation problems, as determined by the investigating doctor.
- People with behavioural difficulties — such as resistance to cooperation, agitation, or dementia — that the investigator believes would affect their walking assessments.
- People who already have a carbon or NEUROSWING ankle-foot brace fitted.
- People taller than 214 cm (approximately 7 feet).
- People weighing more than 193 kg (approximately 425 pounds).
- Women who are pregnant, in labour, or breastfeeding.
