  • People who have been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes for more than 5 years
  • People whose pancreas produces very little insulin on its own, shown by a specific blood test result (2-hour C-peptide level below 0.3 ng/mL) taken after consuming a mixed meal

  • People who have taken part in another clinical trial in the past 3 months, or who have received an islet cell transplant, organ transplant, or cell therapy in the past 12 months
  • People whom the trial investigators consider unsuitable to participate for any other reason (confirm with trial site)
