Who might be able to join this trial:
- People between 18 and 40 years old
- People who have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder and/or depression (without bipolar features), based on recognised diagnostic guidelines
- People who are willing to take part in a short-term treatment delivered in a group setting
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are currently experiencing thoughts of suicide
- People who are currently engaging in self-harm
- People who have a severe psychiatric condition, such as bipolar disorder or psychosis
- People who have a substance use disorder
- People who are currently taking anxiety-reducing medications such as benzodiazepines
- People who are taking antidepressant medication but have not been on a stable dose for at least 6 months
- People who are currently receiving another form of psychological treatment or therapy
