Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years old or older and have been diagnosed with a solid tumor cancer for which your doctor has recommended chemotherapy before or after surgery
- You are planned to receive at least 4 cycles of chemotherapy given through a vein (IV), using one of these specific treatment plans: FOLFOX, FOLFIRINOX, weekly Paclitaxel, Paclitaxel every 3 weeks, or Paclitaxel combined with Carboplatin in various schedules
- Your chemotherapy is expected to be completed within 12 months
- Your hands and feet fall within the sizing range required for the study devices
- You are well enough to carry out daily activities, with only mild limitations at most (confirm with trial site)
- You are willing and able to wear special glove and boot devices during and for up to one hour after each chemotherapy infusion
- You are willing to fill out questionnaires throughout the study
- You are able to read and complete questionnaires in one of the languages the study offers
Who may not be able to join:
- You already have any nerve damage or numbness in your hands or feet before starting the trial
- You have received certain nerve-damaging chemotherapy drugs (such as taxanes, platinum agents, vinca alkaloids, or bortezomib) within the past year
- You are pregnant or have a positive pregnancy test at the start of the trial
- You have a known or suspected allergy to any part of the glove or boot devices, including latex
- You have open wounds, sores, cysts, or injuries on your hands, feet, or parts of your arms or legs where the devices would be worn
- You have significant problems with blood flow to your hands or feet (confirm with trial site)
- You have high blood pressure that is not being treated or not under control
- You have diabetes that is poorly managed
- You weigh more than 140 kg (approximately 309 lbs) at the time of joining
- You have a history of, or suspected, cancer that has spread to your hands or feet
- You are already using another investigational device or any compression or cold therapy treatment to prevent or manage nerve damage from chemotherapy
- You are currently taking certain medications for nerve pain, including Pregabalin, Gabapentin, Amitriptyline, Nortriptyline, Venlafaxine, or Duloxetine
- You have a cognitive, psychiatric, or physical condition that would make it difficult to follow the study procedures
- You are currently taking part in, or have taken part in within the last 30 days, another clinical study that could cause nerve damage
- You have previously taken part in this same study
