Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are between 13 and 18 years old
- People who can read, write, and speak Norwegian well enough to take part
- People who have access to the internet and a smartphone
- People who have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder
- People who are currently receiving outpatient treatment (treatment without being admitted to hospital) for their anxiety disorder
- People whose treatment during the study period includes a type of therapy called exposure therapy, where a person gradually faces things that cause anxiety
- People whose therapist agrees to use the trial app as an add-on to their regular therapy sessions
- People who are taking medication for a mental health condition must have been on a stable dose of that medication for at least six weeks before joining
Who may not be able to join:
- People with serious mental health concerns — such as thoughts of suicide or very poor day-to-day functioning — may not be able to take part if the trial site determines that joining could be unsafe or unworkable. This decision would be made together by the person's therapist and the research team
