Who might be able to join this trial:
- People between the ages of 12 and 18 years old
- People who have scored 28 or higher on a standard childhood depression assessment called the CDRS-R
- People who are able to read and write in Chinese
- People whose parent or guardian has also provided written agreement to participate, along with the participant themselves
- People who have access to a mobile phone and the internet
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose depression symptoms are assessed by the researchers as too severe to take part in the program being studied
- People who scored 5 or higher on the suicidal ideation (thoughts of suicide) section of the CDRS-R assessment
- People who have been diagnosed with a mental health condition other than depression
- People with serious physical illnesses or physical disabilities that would prevent them from using the digital therapy program in this trial
- People who have received any treatment for depression in the past three months, or who are currently receiving treatment — including medication, talking therapies, or physical therapies
- People who would not be available for follow-up appointments after the treatment period ends
