Who may not be able to join:

  • You have a known diagnosis of type 1 diabetes, or have previously tested positive for a specific diabetes-related antibody called GAD65
  • You have been diagnosed with cirrhosis or advanced chronic liver disease
  • You are pregnant or test positive for pregnancy at screening
  • You have a known allergy or sensitivity to arginine (a naturally occurring amino acid) or any of its components
  • You appear to be at least moderately intoxicated by alcohol at the time of screening, as judged by the treating medical team
