Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who are 18 years of age or older at the time of signing consent

Who may not be able to join:

  • People whose absolute neutrophil count (a measure of infection-fighting cells) is below 500
  • People who have received radiation therapy to any area of the body that would be massaged, within the past 90 days
  • People currently using cold therapy devices on their hands or feet (such as cold gloves or cold socks) that cannot be removed during a massage session
  • People who have had surgery on their foot, leg, head, neck, shoulder, hands, or arms within the past three months
  • People who have rashes, open wounds, or skin conditions that could be made worse by massage
  • People with known allergies to creams, lotions, or other substances that may be used during massage therapy sessions
  • People with a known allergy to Bioton dual-purpose massage cream or any of its ingredients
  • People with an ongoing, uncontrolled psychiatric condition (such as a mood disorder, anxiety disorder, psychosis, or substance use disorder) that the person's cancer care team determines would interfere with participation
  • Current or former employees who are under the direct or indirect supervision of the principal investigator, a co-investigator, or the study manager (this is to prevent any pressure or undue influence on staff)
  • People who are pregnant
  • People who have cancer that has spread to the bones (bone metastasis)
