- People who are HIV-positive and aged 35 or older, or people who are HIV-negative and aged 45 or older

- People who previously took part in the PAC Self-Swab Study in Milwaukee
- People who are currently taking blood-thinning medications (not including aspirin or common pain relievers like ibuprofen or naproxen)
- People who have been diagnosed with hemophilia, cirrhosis with bleeding varices (enlarged, fragile blood vessels in the digestive tract linked to liver disease), or a condition involving low platelet counts in the blood
- People who have a serious medical condition or physical issue that the trial team determines would prevent safe participation — for example, a narrowing of the anal canal (confirm with trial site)
- People who plan to move away from their current area within 12 months of joining the trial
