Who may be able to join
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People who were diagnosed between August 2014 and August 2024 with one of the following: Extrapulmonary Neuroendocrine Carcinoma (EP-NEC), Large-cell neuroendocrine carcinoma (LCNEC) or a mixed form, or Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC) or a mixed form
- People whose medical records are complete enough and available for the trial team to collect data from
- People whose tumour tissue sample was collected from 2014 onwards
Who may not be able to join

- People who had another active cancer at the same time they were diagnosed with the neuroendocrine carcinoma, unless that other cancer was a non-invasive skin cancer (such as basal cell carcinoma or squamous cell carcinoma of the skin) or early-stage cervical cancer that had not spread
- People who are unwilling or unable to give their consent to participate, or whose legal representative is unwilling or unable to do so on their behalf (where consent is required by the ethics committee overseeing the trial)
