Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 or older
- People who have been diagnosed with Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD) based on standard diagnostic guidelines (DSM-5), as assessed by a psychologist during a video call
- People whose self-rated score on the GAD-7 anxiety questionnaire is 7 or higher
- People who can read and speak Swedish fluently
- People who have access to a smartphone, tablet, or computer, and who have a Swedish BankID (which is needed to access the video calls and treatment platform)
- People who have enough time and availability to take part in a 10-week treatment program
- People who agree to participate in the trial
Who may not be able to join:
- People whom a clinician judges to be in greater need of a different psychiatric treatment for another mental health condition (for example, severe depression), or who are assessed as having a high risk of suicide
- People who are currently misusing drugs or alcohol
- People who are currently experiencing a serious physical health condition or significant social difficulties that a clinician judges would be too great a barrier to completing the treatment
