Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes by a doctor, and whose doctor has set them up with a specific insulin pump (the t:slim X2 with Control-IQ technology) along with a Dexcom G6 or G7 continuous glucose monitor.
- People aged 6 years or older at the time of joining the trial.
- People who are using an insulin that is approved for use in an insulin pump.
- People (or their parent or guardian) who are able to respond to alerts and alarms from the device, and manage basic day-to-day diabetes care.
- People who live full-time in mainland France.
- People who have an email address and a mobile phone number.
- People (or their parent or guardian) who have read and understood the study information, and agreed to take part, including: continuing to use the Control-IQ pump system for at least 12 months after joining; allowing the study team to use existing and future clinical data (including HbA1c blood test results from up to 4 months before joining); and completing questionnaires as required by the study.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a medical condition, another health-related situation, or who are taking medications that the trial doctor believes would make it unsafe for them to take part.
- People who are considered vulnerable under French law.
