Who might be able to join this trial:
- People whose cancer has spread (metastatic colorectal cancer) confirmed by laboratory testing of a tissue or cell sample
- People who are generally well enough to carry out daily activities with little or no limitation (this is measured using a standard scoring system called ECOG, with a score of 0 or 1)
- People with a life expectancy of at least 6 months
- People who have not yet received any systemic treatment (such as chemotherapy) for their metastatic colorectal cancer

- People who currently have a significant blockage in their digestive system, based on scans or symptoms
- People who have needed a procedure to drain excess fluid from their abdomen in the past 30 days
- People who have previously received immunotherapy or anti-angiogenic therapy (a type of treatment that targets blood vessel growth) for colorectal cancer
- People with a current or past history of inflammatory bowel conditions such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, or ongoing chronic diarrhoea
- People whose cancer is considered removable by surgery
