Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People whose general health and ability to carry out daily activities is rated as fully active or restricted only in physically strenuous activity (this is measured using a standard scale called ECOG, scores 0 or 1)
  • People with pancreatic cancer that has been confirmed through a tissue or cell sample, and that has not yet received any treatment for cancer that has spread to other parts of the body

  • People whose pancreatic cancer started outside the main pancreatic ducts, including certain rare types such as pancreatic neuroendocrine carcinoma, acinar cell carcinoma, pancreatoblastoma, or solid-pseudopapillary tumour
  • People with a known history of cancer that has spread to the brain or spinal cord
  • People who have had a serious infection in the four weeks before joining the trial, or who have had infection symptoms requiring intravenous antibiotics (other than preventive antibiotics) in the two weeks before joining
  • People with heart conditions that are not well managed, including moderate-to-severe heart failure, unstable chest pain (angina), a heart attack within the past 6 months, or significant irregular heart rhythms that require treatment
