Who might be able to join this trial:

  • The patient, or their family member on their behalf, must agree to take part and sign a consent form

  • People who have been confirmed through a tissue biopsy to have locally advanced rectal cancer (a specific type called adenocarcinoma)

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have previously received any type of immunotherapy treatment, such as immune checkpoint drugs, immune cell therapies, or similar treatments that work through the immune system
