- People who have been diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome on one side only, confirmed by medical history, physical examination, and a nerve conduction test (EMG)

- People whose ability to understand the study information is affected by a cognitive condition
- People who do not wish to take part in the study
- Women who are pregnant, in labour, or breastfeeding
- People who are under a legal protection order
- People who do not have health coverage
- People who are under guardianship, curatorship, or any other form of legal protection, or who have had their freedom restricted by a court or administrative decision
