Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are willing and able to attend scheduled visits, receive the study treatment, and complete required tests, and you have signed a consent form agreeing to take part
- You have been diagnosed with multiple myeloma that has come back or stopped responding to treatment, and tests have confirmed that your myeloma cells carry certain markers called BCMA and/or CD19
- You have already received at least one course of treatment for multiple myeloma (including specific drug types known as proteasome inhibitors, immunomodulatory drugs, or CD38 antibody treatments), or your myeloma has stopped responding to one or more of these drug types
- You are between 18 and 70 years old (male or female)
- Your general physical fitness is rated at a level meaning you are fully active or able to carry out light activities (confirm with trial site)
- Your doctors estimate you are likely to live for more than 3 months from the time you sign the consent form
- Your hemoglobin (a measure of red blood cells) is at or above a certain level, which may be supported by a blood transfusion if needed
- Your kidney, liver, and heart and lung function all meet certain minimum levels as measured by blood and other tests (confirm with trial site)
- If you could become pregnant or father a child, you must agree to use contraception during the study and for six months afterward, and must inform the trial team immediately if pregnancy occurs or is suspected
Who may not be able to join:
- You have serious heart problems or your heart's pumping strength is below a certain level
- You have a history of severe lung disease
- You have another advanced cancer in addition to multiple myeloma
- You have a serious ongoing infection that cannot be brought under control
- You have a severe autoimmune disease or a significant problem with your immune system
- You have active hepatitis B or hepatitis C (shown by active virus detected in your blood)
- You have HIV, AIDS, or syphilis
- You have had a severe allergic reaction to biological medicines (including antibiotics) in the past
- You previously had a stem cell transplant from a donor and still have a complication called graft-versus-host disease more than one month after stopping immune-suppressing medication
- You have any other serious physical or mental health condition, or abnormal test results, that the trial doctors feel would make it unsafe or unsuitable for you to participate
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
