Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who have been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma or multiple myeloma, confirmed by a pathology test
  • People who are scheduled to receive one of the following FDA-approved CAR-T cell therapies: Axi-cel, Liso-cel, Tisa-cel, Ide-cel, Cilta-cel, or Brexu-cel

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have a pre-existing neurological condition that significantly affects their speech, such as severe difficulty forming words, loss of ability to express language, or a degenerative brain or nerve condition
  • People with a history of significant speech or voice disorders, such as paralysis of the voice box, severe voice problems, or recent surgery or radiation to the throat area
  • People with any condition affecting the vocal cords that could interfere with voice analysis, such as vocal cord paralysis, chronic laryngitis, nodules, polyps, growths, or tumours on the vocal cords
  • People with severe hearing loss that would interfere with completing the voice assessments
  • People who have a language barrier that would prevent them from reliably completing the voice tasks or allowing the study team to interpret the results
