Who may be able to join

  • People between the ages of 50 and 85 who have been diagnosed with secondary progressive multiple sclerosis (a specific form of MS) using the 2024 McDonald Criteria.

  • People who have a condition called pulmonary arterial hypertension, which is high blood pressure in the lungs.
  • People with a current or long-term history of liver disease.
  • People who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease or Parkinson's disease.
  • People who have had a problem with drug or alcohol misuse at any point in the last 5 years.
  • People with a history of blood clotting disorders, bleeding in the brain, or bleeding in the digestive system.
  • People with any history, at any point in their life, of chest pain (angina), heart attack, irregular heartbeat, or heart failure.
  • People with a heart electrical abnormality known as QTc prolongation (confirm with trial site).
  • People with low levels of red blood cells, platelets, or certain white blood cells below specific thresholds measured by blood tests.
  • People with moderately low levels of potassium or magnesium in their blood, based on specific laboratory measurements.
  • People whose liver function blood test results are above certain levels, indicating possible liver stress (confirm with trial site).
  • People with chronic kidney disease where kidney filtering function falls below a specific level measured by a blood test.
  • People who drink more than 2 alcoholic drinks per day (for men) or more than 1 alcoholic drink per day (for women).
