Who may be able to join
- People aged 18 to 75 years.

- People whose cancer is at stage IV, meaning it has spread to distant parts of the body, and who have at least 2 measurable tumour areas, including one that has spread to a distant location.
- People whose cancer does not have specific gene changes (known as "driver gene-negative") (confirm with trial site).
- People who are generally able to carry out daily activities with little to no limitation, based on a standard medical scale called ECOG, scored 0 or 1.
- People whose blood cell counts are within acceptable ranges: white blood cells above a certain level, haemoglobin above 90 g/L, and platelets above a certain level.
- People whose liver and kidney function test results are within acceptable ranges, including bilirubin, liver enzymes (AST, ALT, ALP), and kidney filtration rate.

Who may not be able to join

- People who test positive for HIV antibodies or who have been diagnosed with AIDS.
- People with active tuberculosis (TB) within the past year, or people with a history of TB from more than one year ago who did not receive confirmed, regular anti-TB treatment.
- People with active, known, or suspected autoimmune diseases — such as certain conditions affecting the eyes, gut, liver, kidneys, blood vessels, thyroid, or lungs — though some exceptions apply, including type 1 diabetes, hypothyroidism treated with hormone replacement, and certain skin conditions not requiring systemic treatment (confirm with trial site).
- People who have had an interstitial lung disease or lung inflammation in the past year that required steroid tablets or intravenous steroids.
- People currently taking ongoing steroid tablets or other medicines that suppress the immune system at certain doses — though people using inhaled or skin-applied steroids may still be eligible (confirm with trial site).
- People with certain uncontrolled heart conditions, including significant heart failure, unstable chest pain, a heart attack within the past year, or certain heart rhythm problems requiring treatment.
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- People who have had, or currently have, another type of cancer — with some exceptions for certain skin cancers, early-stage cervical changes, and a specific type of thyroid cancer that has been adequately treated.
- People with a known allergy or sensitivity to the study drug (QL1706) or similar protein-based medicines.
- People who have had an active infection requiring systemic treatment within the past week.
- People who have received a live vaccine within 30 days before starting the immunotherapy part of the trial.
- People who have had an organ transplant.
- People whom the trial investigators consider unsuitable due to other safety concerns, serious health conditions requiring urgent treatment, significantly abnormal test results, or other personal or social risk factors.
