Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are experiencing significant symptoms of depression and/or anxiety, based on scores from standard questionnaires (a score of 10 or higher on the PHQ-9 depression scale and/or a score of 10 or higher on the GAD-7 anxiety scale)
- People who can read and communicate in English
- People who have access to a smartphone and the internet
- People who are able to receive text messages on their phone
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are not a US citizen or a legal permanent resident (green card holder)
- People who have a history of psychosis or mania
- People who are currently experiencing thoughts of suicide or self-harm, as identified by specific questions on the PHQ-9 and BDI questionnaires
- People who do not provide the personal information needed to generate a required identification code for the study (confirm with trial site)
