Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with idiopathic Parkinson's disease (a specific form of Parkinson's disease with no known outside cause)

- People who have epilepsy
- People who are currently misusing drugs or alcohol
- People who have had a stroke, or who have structural changes in the brain seen on MRI that could affect image analysis
- People for whom an MRI scan is not safe (for example, due to metal implants or other contraindications)
- People who have a cardiac pacemaker
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People who experience severe anxiety in enclosed spaces (claustrophobia)
- People who are unable to lie on their back for 2 to 4 hours inside an MRI scanner
- People who do not wish to be informed if an unrelated health finding is discovered during the trial
- People whose skull density ratio (a measurement of skull bone characteristics relevant to the ultrasound treatment) is below 0.35 (confirm with trial site)
