Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who are willing to voluntarily sign a consent form agreeing to take part
  • People aged 18 to 75 years old (male or female)

  • People who experience a significant drop in blood pressure when standing up (orthostatic hypotension)
  • People with Type 1 diabetes, or Type 2 diabetes that is not well controlled
  • People who have had a heart attack, stroke, or other heart or brain-related medical event in the 6 months before the screening appointment
  • People who have had a serious, uncontrolled irregular heartbeat in the 6 months before the screening appointment
  • People who are thought to be allergic to the trial medication or any of its ingredients
  • People who have another medical condition (aside from high blood pressure) that requires treatment with a specific class of blood pressure-related medicines called RAAS inhibitors
  • People whose blood test results at the screening or baseline stage do not meet the trial's required standards (confirm with trial site for specific values)
  • People who have taken any medication that affects blood pressure within the 4 weeks before screening, or who plan to take such medication during the study
