Who may be able to join
- People who are able to understand and willingly sign a written consent form.
- Men or women aged 18 years or older.
- People who have been confirmed through tissue or cell testing to have a type of lung cancer called non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that can be surgically removed, at a stage between IB and IIIA (based on a standard cancer staging system).
- People whose NSCLC has not been treated before with any cancer-fighting medicines given throughout the body.
- People whose lung cancer does not have certain specific genetic changes known as EGFR mutations (exon 19 deletion or exon 21 L858R) or ALK gene rearrangements.
- People who have at least one tumour that can be measured using standard imaging criteria (confirm with trial site).
- People with an estimated life expectancy of more than 6 months.
- People with a good general level of physical functioning, rated 0 or 1 on a standard scale used in cancer research (meaning fully active or able to carry out light work).
- People with blood counts and kidney and liver function within acceptable ranges.
- Women who could become pregnant must have a negative pregnancy test before starting the study treatment.
Who may not be able to join

- People whose lung cancer is known to have certain specific genetic changes (EGFR mutations or ALK gene rearrangements).
- People who have an active, known, or suspected condition where the immune system attacks the body.
- People who have a lung condition involving scarring or inflammation of the lung tissue (interstitial lung disease).
- People with a medical condition, ongoing treatment, or abnormal test results that, in the trial doctor's judgement, could affect study results or make participation unsafe or unsuitable.
- People whose lung cancer cannot be surgically removed or has spread to other parts of the body.
- People who have had a serious heart event, an unstable irregular heartbeat, or unstable chest pain within the 3 months before starting the study treatment.
- Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or who could become pregnant and are unwilling to use effective contraception throughout the study.
- People whom the trial doctor considers unsuitable for participation for any other reason.
