Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 30 years of age or older.
- People who have been diagnosed with a stroke where the cause could not be determined (called Embolic Stroke of Undetermined Source), and who have already had, or are planned to have, a small heart-monitoring device implanted under the skin (called an Implantable Cardiac Monitor).
- People who have had a standard 12-lead heart tracing (ECG) done within 2 weeks before or after the heart monitor was implanted.
- People whose heart was showing a normal, regular rhythm on their ECG at the time of joining the trial.
- People who have willingly agreed to take part by signing a consent form.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have been diagnosed with an irregular heart rhythm called Atrial Fibrillation at any point before joining the trial.
- People whose implanted heart monitor has a battery that is too low to continue recording (confirm with trial site).
- People whose ECG recordings cannot be read by the trial's computer analysis program due to too much interference or noise in the recording, or because the file format is not compatible with digital analysis.
