  • People who are willing to be contacted if more information is needed about anything reported in a survey or to customer support
  • People who are willing to share medical records, or sign a release form for records related to any hospital stays
  • People who have mobile phone coverage, or who are able to connect to WiFi at least once a week
  • Females who are not currently pregnant and are not planning to become pregnant in the next 12 months
  • People who can speak and read English
  • People for whom an HbA1c result (a blood sugar average test) taken within 6 months before starting the twiist system is available or can be obtained (confirm with trial site)

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have any form of diabetes other than Type 1 diabetes
  • People who are currently receiving dialysis for end-stage kidney disease
