Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are willing and able to give informed consent, or who have a parent or legally authorised representative who can do so on their behalf

- People who have been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes (T1D)
- People who are currently using the twiist AID (automated insulin delivery) system, and who started using it within 90 days of enrolling in the study
- People who are willing to use only an insulin that is approved for use in the pump

- People who are willing to use the twiist system according to its official user manual
- People who agree to allow the study to use their twiist device data and any information shared with Sequel Medtech or customer support since starting the device
- People who are willing to complete surveys at the start of the study and then once a month for 12 months
- People who are willing to be contacted if more information is needed about anything reported in a survey or to customer support
- People who are willing to share medical records, or sign a release form for records related to any hospital stays
- People who have mobile phone coverage, or who are able to connect to WiFi at least once a week
- Females who are not currently pregnant and are not planning to become pregnant in the next 12 months
- People who can speak and read English
- People for whom an HbA1c result (a blood sugar average test) taken within 6 months before starting the twiist system is available or can be obtained (confirm with trial site)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have any form of diabetes other than Type 1 diabetes
- People who are currently receiving dialysis for end-stage kidney disease
