Who might be able to join this trial:
For parents/caregivers of children with disabilities:
- You are an adult (18 years or older) who is the main caregiver for a child under 18 with a disability, and that child is a patient at one of the clinics taking part in this study
- Your child is expected to have appointments at the participating clinic at least once a week for the next three months
- You are open to learning ways to manage your emotions and thoughts
- You have access to a phone, tablet, or computer with a reliable internet connection, either at home or somewhere like a library
For occupational therapists:
- You are willing to take part in training, running the program, and completing study evaluations
- You currently work in a children's clinic that sees at least 15 children who attend at least once a week
Who may not be able to join:
For parents/caregivers of children with disabilities:
- You have a cognitive, physical, or sensory condition, or a language barrier (such as not speaking English), that would make it difficult to take part
- You have had thoughts of suicide or made a suicide attempt in the past six months
- You are currently taking part in another research study that supports parents
- Either you or your child has been hospitalized more than three times in the past year, or there are other serious health concerns that might make it hard to fully engage with the program
For occupational therapists:
