Who might be able to join this trial:

You have been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation (AF) or a related irregular heart rhythm (atrial tachycardia) that is causing symptoms, and these symptoms have come back after already having one catheter ablation procedure to treat AF
You are between 18 and 85 years old
You are willing and able to follow the study plan and attend all required visits
You are willing and able to use a device at home to monitor your heart rhythm

Who may not be able to join:

You have a medical reason why catheter ablation is not safe for you, or you are unable to give your consent to take part
Your previous ablation involved treating additional areas of the heart beyond the standard procedure (pulmonary vein isolation, or PVI) (confirm with trial site)
You have never had a pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) procedure before
You have already had more than one PVI or repeat PVI procedure
The left chamber of your heart (left atrium) is larger than a certain size (55mm), as measured by a scan
You have previously had a surgical procedure to treat atrial fibrillation
You have had atrial fibrillation continuously for more than 12 months
There is a medical reason why a repeat ablation procedure would not be safe for you (confirm with trial site)
You have previously had a small heart-monitoring device implanted under your skin (implantable loop recorder)
You have had surgery on your mitral valve (a valve in your heart)
You have a severely leaking mitral valve
You are unable to take blood-thinning medication (anticoagulants)
You have a blood clot inside your heart
You have a lung condition such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or asthma that requires treatment with long-acting inhalers
You have sleep apnea (a condition where breathing stops during sleep) that requires you to use a CPAP breathing mask at night
You are pregnant
You are currently taking part in another clinical study
You are unwilling to follow the study plan or attend follow-up appointments
