Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with Idiopathic (typical) Parkinson's Disease and are between 40 and 80 years old, and you agree to take part in the treatment.
- You are regularly seen by a neurologist and your Parkinson's medications have stayed the same for at least the last 3 months.
- Your Parkinson's is at a mild to moderate stage (stage 1 to 3 on a standard Parkinson's staging scale — confirm with trial site if unsure of your stage).
- You scored 24 or higher on a standard memory and thinking test called the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE).
- You are able to stand upright on your own and can walk, with or without a walking aid.
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a bone, joint, rheumatic, or other neurological condition (unrelated to Parkinson's) that affects how you move or function.
- Your Parkinson's medications have been changed or adjusted in the last 3 months.
- You have been diagnosed with an atypical or unusual form of Parkinson's Disease (not the standard type).
- You have a visual impairment or significant problems with your eyesight.
- You have been diagnosed with dementia.
- You have a serious heart or breathing condition that is not well controlled.
- You have a condition called diabetes insipidus (a rare hormone-related condition — confirm with trial site).
- You currently have an active infection anywhere in your body.
- You have broken, damaged, or infected skin.
- You are sensitive or have had reactions to inhaled steam or chemicals found in water.
- You have a history of epilepsy (seizures) or asthma.
- You experience loss of bladder or bowel control.
- You do not wish to take part or do not give your consent to the treatment.
