Who may not be able to join:

  • You are currently receiving any other form of psychotherapy while the study is running.
  • You have taken any psychiatric medications — such as antidepressants, tranquilizers, antipsychotics, or mood stabilisers — in the last 30 days.
  • You have been diagnosed with a serious mental health condition that requires specialist psychiatric care or a stay in a psychiatric facility.
  • You are currently at acute risk of suicide.
  • You have a current problem with alcohol or drug misuse or addiction.
  • You do not meet all of the scoring thresholds listed in the joining criteria above.
