Who may be able to join
- People aged 18 to 75 years old, both men and women.
- People who have been diagnosed with Crohn's disease (CD) at least 1 month (30 days) before the study begins.
- People who have tried other treatments for Crohn's disease in the past but either no longer tolerate those treatments or the treatments have stopped working.
Who may not be able to join

- People who have another condition that causes inflammation (swelling) in the bowel.
- People who have complications from Crohn's disease that may require surgery.
- People who currently have abscesses (pockets of infection), or who have had abscesses treated within the 6 weeks before the study begins.
- People who have had part of their bowel surgically removed within the 6 months before the study begins.
- People who have had any surgery inside the abdomen within the 3 months before the study begins.
- People who have or have previously had a J-pouch (a surgically created internal pouch).
- People who have had infections in the 8 weeks before the study begins.
- People who have donated blood or plasma in the 30 days before the study begins.
- People who are unable to tolerate having blood drawn from a vein with a needle.
