- You have been living in a long-term care facility for at least 2 weeks
- You are regularly receiving wound care for pressure ulcers (also known as bedsores)
- You are able to comfortably wear a virtual reality headset
- If you are able to understand and follow instructions, you can do so in English or French
Who may not be able to join:
- You have blindness, severe cataracts, or glaucoma
- You have a known allergy to synthetic plastics or the materials used in virtual reality headsets
- You have wounds on your head or ears that would make wearing a headset impossible or unsafe
- You have peripheral neuropathy, which is a condition affecting the nerves in your hands and feet (confirm with trial site)
