Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are generally well enough to carry out daily activities with little to no limitation (as measured by a standard medical scale called the ECOG scale, with a score of 0 or 1).
- People who have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that has not spread to other parts of the body and cannot be removed with surgery, as shown on a CT or MRI scan taken either at the start of the study screening or within the past 12 weeks.
- People whose pancreatic cancer was confirmed as unable to be surgically removed during an exploratory procedure (either keyhole or open surgery), and whose cancer was originally classified as borderline or locally advanced.
- People who have already received standard chemotherapy treatment (either FOLFIRINOX or GEM Abraxane) for their current pancreatic cancer diagnosis.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who currently have severe or critical pancreatitis (serious inflammation of the pancreas).
- People who have previously received radiation therapy as part of their treatment for pancreatic cancer.
- People whose CT or MRI scan at screening shows signs that the cancer has spread to other parts of the body, or who have any other type of cancer detected at screening.
- People with any past or present heart-related cardiovascular conditions.
- People who have any metal implants in their body.
