Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a Parkinson's-like condition that is not classified as primary Parkinson's disease.
- People who have previously had brain surgery or have had deep brain stimulation electrodes implanted.
- People who have been diagnosed with dementia according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), published by the American Psychiatric Association. Note: people with mild cognitive impairment (mild thinking or memory difficulties that do not meet the full definition of dementia) are not excluded on this basis.
