Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are willing and able to give their informed consent to take part in the study
- People whose procedures are already part of their standard medical care, or who are already taking the relevant medication as part of their normal clinical treatment
- People aged 18 years or older
- People experiencing typical reflux symptoms such as heartburn or regurgitation, or less typical symptoms that may be linked to reflux, including throat, voice, ear, sinus, lung, heart, or sleep-related issues, or people experiencing swallowing difficulties, chest pain, or food getting stuck in the throat that may point to a problem with how the oesophagus moves
- People who have been diagnosed with an inflammatory condition of the oesophagus (such as eosinophilic oesophagitis), a systemic rheumatological condition (such as scleroderma or systemic sclerosis), or who have previously had anti-reflux surgery, weight-loss surgery, or certain endoscopic or surgical procedures on the oesophagus or stomach
- People who have been referred to the Digestive Physiopathology Unit at IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital for motility testing
Who may not be able to join:
- People under the age of 18
- People who are not willing to give their informed consent to be included in the registry

To collect High Resolution Manometry (HRM) data from patients referred for esophageal motility/inflammatory disorders or reflux/obstructive esophageal symptoms at Motility Unit of IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital; To collect pH-impedance data from patients referred for esophageal motility/inflammatory disorders or reflux/obstructive esophageal symptoms at Motility Unit of IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital
