Who may be able to join
- People who have been diagnosed with early-stage (Stage I) non-small cell lung cancer, with a tumour no larger than 4 cm, and at least one higher-risk feature such as a tumour larger than 2 cm, cancer that has grown into the lining around the lung, cancer that has spread into nearby blood or lymph vessels, or a more aggressive tumour type
- People who have had complete surgical removal of their lung cancer
- People who have not received any other treatment — such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, or radiation — for their current lung cancer before joining the trial
- People who are able to provide a tissue sample from their recent surgery and a blood sample
- People living with HIV, provided their HIV is well-controlled on medication
- People who have hepatitis B, provided they have been on hepatitis B antiviral treatment for at least 4 weeks and the virus is undetectable in their blood before joining
- People with a history of hepatitis C, provided the hepatitis C virus is undetectable in their blood at the time of screening
Who may not be able to join

- People diagnosed with small cell lung cancer, a mixed tumour containing small cell elements, large cell neuroendocrine tumours, sarcomatoid carcinoma, or two separate primary lung cancers at the same time
- People who have had a significant heart condition in the 12 months before joining, including heart bypass surgery, a procedure to open blocked arteries, heart valve surgery, severe heart failure, unstable chest pain, a heart attack, pulmonary hypertension, a stroke, or a serious irregular heartbeat
- People living with HIV who also have a history of Kaposi's sarcoma or Multicentric Castleman's Disease
- People who have another cancer that is still active or has required treatment within the past 3 years
- People who have an autoimmune disease that has needed systemic (whole-body) medical treatment within the past 2 years — though hormone replacement such as thyroid medication, insulin, or low-dose steroids is generally permitted
- People with a history of non-infectious lung inflammation (pneumonitis) or scarring lung disease (interstitial lung disease) that required steroid treatment, or who currently have either of these conditions
- People with an active infection that requires systemic medical treatment, beyond what is specifically allowed in the trial rules
- People who have previously had a stem cell or solid organ transplant
- People who have not fully recovered from their lung surgery or who still have complications from it
